How coverage pricing works
Billed on the unit it protects
Two companies with the same laptop count but different mailbox and site counts get different - and fairer - bills.
Month-end counts, billed in arrears
We count your units on the last calendar day of each month and invoice for what was actually protected - never in advance, never estimated.
Your tier sets the rate
Each tier carries its own unit rates and service availability, so the price reflects the depth of coverage behind it.
Grows and shrinks with you
Add a site, onboard staff, retire servers - your bill follows your environment automatically, with the counts visible in the Shield Portal.
Fair counting, in writing
- Shared, resource and room mailboxes are monitored at no charge - only licensed user mailboxes count.
- Devices absent for more than 30 consecutive days aren't billed; disabled and dormant guest accounts are excluded; a high-availability firewall pair counts as one unit.
- Units are counted on the last calendar day of the month and billed in arrears; the platform fee is billed monthly in advance. Mid-month additions start the following month.
- Annual prepayment of Platform and Coverage charges earns two months free. Engagements are not eligible.
- Every counting rule is stated on your quotation, so your invoice is never a surprise.
